Acupuncture

Traditional acupuncture is a gentle yet powerful medicine which has been proven effective over the course of thousands of years. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Institutes for Health (NIH) endorse acupuncture as beneficial for many conditions. This highly effective and safe treatment is a primary health care modality for over one third of the world's population. It activates the natural healing properties inherent in each individual. It strengthens the immune system and treats the root causes of disease and illness. Those who receive ongoing treatment have reported an improved sense of vitality and stamina. They get sick less often and experience a deeper sense of peace and well being which shows up in all areas of life.

Even though acupuncture is an ancient tradition of healing, it addresses many manifestations of illness in our modern society and can be used in conjunction with western medicine. Well known for its use in easing pain, acupuncture is beneficial for a wide range of diseases throughout the body. Many chronic illnesses and acute conditions such as headaches, chronic fatigue, depression, allergies, back pain, digestive disorders, joint pain, sleeping problems, infertility, menstrual disorders and other symptoms can be alleviated through treatment.

To begin treatment, we will conduct a thorough medical evaluation and health history in your first session in addition to an acupuncture treatment. You will need to allow at least an hour and a half to two hours for this initial appointment. Each subsequent treatment will be approximately forty-five minutes to an hour.


Initial Session (90 minutes - 2 hours): $140
Subsequent Sessions (45-60 minutes): $80


Note: We do not accept insurance but please check with your insurance provider to see if you qualify for partial or full reimbursement. We will code for reimbursement and provide a receipt to be submitted to your insurance company. Payment is due at the time of service via check or credit card.
